Ah, you’re talking about Khukuris, the traditional curved knives from Nepal! They’re pretty iconic and have a rich history. Gurkha Khukuri House is a family-run business based in the Kathamandu Valley, Nepal.

This type of Nepalese Khukuri are known as dragon Khukuri as this is the kukri engraved with the dragon shape on it’s both sides and this type of kukri are purely handmade kukris.
A Dhankute Khukuri is basically a simple working cum decorative knife but with a fancy scabbard that has Nepalese national symbols overlaid on its front panel.
The name “American Eagle Khukuri” derives from the eagle which is the national symbol of the United States, the handle shape is eagle and its famous among the US Knife collectors.
The Ganjawal Khukuri is same as Bhojpure Khukuri\ Kukri. The scabbard is made from refined buffalo lather with beautiful design on it.

This is the train knife of Gurkhas. Therefore it is called Jungle Khukuri / Kukri for rough use in Jungle Warfare. This is totally unpolished standard-sized Khukuri. It has 10 1/12″ long blade and with the handle it is 15″ long. The case is made of buffalo hide and the Buffalo horn is used for making handle. It weights 600 grams with scabbard.
